Swan Song [Milliways]
Feb. 13th, 2007 03:41 am"Uncle," Zuko starts without thinking as the door opens, "It's time to go. Jet and his friends are in the bar."
And really, does Zuko need to say more? Edging on a controlled sort of frantic, hating that this new haven is now violated, he heads for the bedroom -- to change clothing to his tatty Earth Kingdom garb, out of jeans, t-shirt. "I've already left notes for our... friends. They'll know we left and why. And not to speak of us."
And then? He's changing clothes. It's time to go.

Always a good idea to know if you can go.

Everywhere gets taken from Zuko in the end. It's a most embittering thought.

Date: 2007-02-13 11:36 am (UTC)...oh, the foolish hopes the young hold. Zuko straightens his garb, and then opens the door for his uncle, face set-- stony and unyielding.
He won't give up.
